The Sussex Stakes is the feature race on Day 2 of the 2025 Glorious Goodwood Meeting and it did not disappoint, Canford Cliffs overcame Rip Van Winkle in a titanic tussle which set the meeting alight. That win for Canford Cliffs was one half of another double for the Richard Hughes and Hannon team, they also picked up a win with King Torus in the Vintage Stakes.
